3 months old!

Today we had Angelica's 3 month checkup. She is doing great. She weighs 13.2 lbs and is in the 75th percentile for weight. She is 25 1/4 inches tall and is in the 97th percentile for height...looks like our once short little girl is now pretty darn tall! She has grown over 6 inches taller since she was born. Besides her height and weight, our pediatrician says she is looking awesome.

Angelica's latest interests are in playing with toys and putting things in her mouth. She is still rolling over several times a day from her tummy to her back. She also babbles on and on and on and on as long as there is someone to listen to her. We may end up having quite the little conversationalist! She is still sleeping pretty well at night. We usually get a 10-11 hour stretch of sleep from her once she falls asleep. And speaking of sleep, she is now sleeping in her own room - most of the time. I have been a little freaked out by this. Perhaps I watch too much Law & Order. There have been nights when I have tossed and turned until 2am, only to go and get her out of her crib and put her back in her bassinet in our room. I get so worried about something happening to her that I just can't relax myself enough to go to bed. One night I even made Dennis get up to look for intruders. The sound of the furnace kicking on amplifies quite a bit over the baby monitor! Hopefully this will pass...if not I will need to start having a glass of wine before bed so I can knock myself out! haha.

She really seems to enjoy taking a bath. I hope it will be an easy transition into the pool this summer! She does pretty well in her stroller. We have been taking walks all week with this beautiful weather. We have walked at the outlet mall, around the neighborhood and even headed to the forest preserve one day.

3 month pictures

Angelica will be 3 months old on Thursday. I decided to give it a shot and take her three month old photos myself. I think I shot over 200 pictures today. Here are some of our favorites. I think that they came out pretty darn good for taking them at home on my own! Now I just need to decide which ones to order!

In these photos you can see Angelica in her Easter dress, her Christening gown, and in a little Easter outfit. She has her 3 month checkup on Friday. She is doing great! We love her so so so so so so much! :)

Little Sister's BIG Day!

My sister finally met the man of her dreams! Doug proposed in January of 2009 and they got married on February 27, 2010. It was a destination wedding in Gatlinburg, TN. About 25 of us traveled down to TN for the wedding ceremony. It was truly a beautiful wedding and we were all very happy to be a part of their big day. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Welcome to Tennessee! (Friday, Feb 26)

We all stayed in cabins in the mountains. Here is a view of our 3 story cabin. Dennis, Angelica and I stayed here with my dad, stepmom, grandma, aunt and uncle. In all, I think we rented 8 cabins for the whole group.

Friday night we all drove to Doug and Lisa's cabin. They were staying at a cabin 4 miles up a mountain. It was at the VERY top of the mountain. The cabin was called "On top of the world" and has been featured on HGTV for the past 4 years. It is currently for sale for about $2 Million. However, the drive up the mountain is long and can be trecherous - especially if there is bad weather! Here are some pictures of the view. The sun was setting by the time we got up there so I didn't get a lot of pictures.

Dad and Diana had been in Mexico the week before. They flew in Friday night/Saturday morning and didn't get to our cabin until 1:30am. Fortunately we were able to sleep in on Saturday. Here Grandma and Diana are hanging out with Angelica.
