2012 Review

January 2012 - Fiona is 3 months old! This was a rare smile for Fiona....the first 4 months of her life were tough. She had a lot of problems with eating and digesting. Luckily we got it all under control by February and got her feeling much better and growing.

February 2012 - Angelica gets her special day out. Den and I took her to the Rainforest Cafe downtown for lunch and then to Disney on Ice at the United Center. She was absolutely thrilled to dress like a princess and to see Mickey and Minnie up close! She had a great time! It was REALLY cold that day and Angelica kept saying "Gelliga so cold!"

Feb 2012 - 2012 was the year of the waterpark! Our first water park trip was to Key Lime Cove in late February. Our 2nd waterpark trip was to Grizzly Jack's in Utica over Easter weekend. In July we spent a whole week at the waterparks in Wisconsin Dells. And just for fun we decided to take the whole Smith family back to the Dells for a Christmas present at the end of the year. No wonder our girls are such water bugs. Here is Fiona and Den at Key Lime Cove. She is 4 months old.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Our annual Irish dinner with the Irish side of our family. Great Grandpa Lannon loved seeing his great grandaughters all dressed in green!

Annual Mother's Day Brunch. This was our 3rd annual lunch with all of the grandmas.

Fiona with Great Grandma Smith. Little did we know that this would be Grandma Smith's last Mother's Day. She passed away the week before Mother's Day 2013.

June 2012 - Father's Day!

October 2012 - When I host a playdate, I got big! Lots of back yard fun, pumpkin painting, lunch and tons of friends!

October 21, 2012 FIONA TURNS ONE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FIONA!

Fiona's 1st Birthday party. I was feeling crafty. I made the cake, cupcakes, food, decorations, etc. We had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful day and we got to spend a lot of it outside. The cotton candy machine was a big hit - especially with the birthday girl!

November 2012 - Dad's 60th Birthday party. It was a surprise party! All of his friends where there and all of our family. It was a great time!

December 1, 2012 - Angelica's 3rd Birthday party. She wanted a Rapunzel theme! We invited her friends and had the party at the community center. After the party we walked outside to see the holiday lights Christmas parade and even Santa made an appearance!

December 2012 - Angelica's special day out - We took her to the Rosemont to see the Rockettes! We also took her to Giordanos for pizza! YUM! She really enjoyed the show and cannot wait to see the Rockettes again!
